Phantom Manor, Disneyland Paris.
We planned our honeymoon trip, Disneyland Paris. The only attraction I had to visit, Phantom Manor. Was it the incredible music, Vincent Price connection, or simply a revision of the Disney classic? Either way, we had to go. We planned, confirmed, verified. The ride would be open. It was not the end of the world, but as I stared at the construction wall, I felt disappointment. Here we were, Paris! The only ride I cared to visit, closed. It’s distressing to witness a cherished brand miss. As we plan our trip to Germany, we are making one stop along the way. We are still huge fans, but a bit of the shine has worn off.
